Flood EB Emulsa-Bond

Description

E-B Emulsa-Bond eliminates washing or bagging down, doing away with costly sealers that take days to dry. It provides a tough bonding primer for chalky, dusty surfaces and a firmly adhering first coat of paint in one application. E-B Emulsa-Bond dries quickly, is rain and bug resistant in one hour and can normally be recoated within 4 hours. It improves hiding because the bonding coat uses the same paint with the same colour as the finishing coat. E-B Emulsa-Bond maximises adhesion between bonding and finishing coat and provides easy workability when brushing, rolling or spraying virtually eliminating misses and holidays. It often provides good hiding with one coat when used with quality brand name paint. It is very economical, saving at least one coat of paint. E-B Emulsa-bond sprays like free-flowing paint, reducing overspray and wear on tips and pump parts. It is easy to clean up with soap and water. Only one set of tools and material are needed on the job.

Flood Floetrol

Description

What does it do? When added to paint, Floetrol gives a longer wet edge, increased coverage, extended spray gun life, easier flow and improved hiding. Floetrol maintains paint quality and does not evaporate. How does it work? The drying time of water-based paint or stain depends on the weather. In hot, windy or humid conditions paint dries too fast resulting in brush and lap marks. Water evaporates and increases chalking. Floetrol will reinforce the paint and make acrylics behave like oil based paint. Where will it work? Floetrol can be used in all acrylics, water-based paints and stains, water-based textured coatings and pebble finishes.

Flood Paint Odour Eliminator

Description

What is it? Odour Zapp is a unique paint additive that reduces the unpleasant odour caused by most paint and paint related products. Where will it work? Odour Zapp works in almost all paints, stains, primers, epoxy, urethane, varnish, solvents, enamels, glues, adhesives and other surface coatings. How does it affect the paint? Odour Zapp Paint Odour Eliminator does not change the characteristics of paint except extending the drying time by 5 - 10%. As it reacts to the air, it completely evaporates out of the paint film taking the odour with it.

Flood Penetrol Primer / Sealer

Description

Penetrol creeps into the most minute crevices and pinholes of any surface where ordinary paint cannot enter. There it dries to a tough yet flexible finish, forming a powerful bonding film for the next coat of paint. Stable and durable, it compensates for the adverse effects that weather and surface conditions have on paint. Used alone as a primer/sealer or added to oil/alkyd based paint, varnishes and stains or metal and wood primers it enhances their inherent qualities and makes them stick to almost anything - even glass. Brush and lap marks are eliminated. Premature peeling, cracking and chalking are a thing of the past. No more uneven paint film - a major cause of early breakdown of surface coatings. And unlike thinners, Penetrol does not evaporate and actually makes more paint. By ensuring greater coverage from each litre of paint it saves money.

Flood VC 175 Antimould Paint Additive

Description

What does it do? In damp or humid conditions most surfaces discolour and stain with unsightly mould and algae growth which, unless checked, continues to be a problem for the life of the surface. The time to treat surfaces against mould growth is when paint is applied. A few drops of VC175 added to the paint and your surfaces will stay like new without unsightly and musty smelling mould. What is it? VC175 Tropical Strength Mould Killer is a powerful, long lasting mould and algae killer which can be added to a wide range of products such as paint, timber stains, textured coatings, grout, mortar and adhesives to prevent the formation of mould and algae. It is an inexpensive paint additive which gives long term protection from unsightly mould and is suitable for most paints. However, as it is impossible for us to test it in every paint on the market, it is advisable to always mix a small sample first to check if it blends with the paint. VC175 Tropical Strength Mould Killer can also be used to form a clear long-life protective anti-mould film to surfaces which are to be left in their natural state. These surfaces will stay mould free when coated with Penetrol to which VC175 has been added.
